We’re nearly halfway through the term and so far this term there hasn’t been a single challenge our students won’t take on. Have a look at some of the awesome (and delicious) things they have been up to:
If you enjoy the smell of warm, freshly baked muffins, you would have had an awesome time SB this week!
Nearly every day students baked every flavour muffin imaginable, from sweet chocolate chip, to delicious lemon and even savoury cheese and chive ones! Every flavour was rated by the lucky taste-testers on a scale from 1-10 to determine the most popular muffin of the week.

All the cooking and food tech lessons our students have done so far have inspired many students to want to learn more and get a certificate to prove it!
Some of our students have started a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate. This is an official course that is required of any person handling food, such as waiters, chefs or retail staff. We’re so impressed by how ambitious you all are!

One of our students has spent weeks and weeks working on his own clothing brand. His hard work has been amazing to watch and from creating digital logos, vinyl cutting them attaching them to clothing to, this week, hand sewing on branded clothing tags it has been truly awesome to watch his vision slowly come to life!
On Friday we were absolutely wowed by PNO’s patience and attention to detail while creating an absolutely gorgeous temporary tattoo for Marion! After almost an hour of PNO carefully selecting colours and drawing on her arms Marion had only one thing to say: “I wish they were permanent!”
Inspired by National Writing Day our students took on various writing challenges. Some created wonderful acrostic poems and AF took on an exam-style writing challenge, that he absolutely smashed!
Have a good weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
