Pay: £22,222.00-£24,952.00 per year

Job Description:

Duties

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to children aged 11 – 21 years
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow
  • Assist with behavior management and implement positive supportive strategies
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the child’s development
  • Plan and facilitate educational activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
  • Deliver Functional skills in English and Maths (essential)
  • Supporting Post 16 offering guidance and options for future options
  • Be available to work across both our sites

Skills

  • Knowledgeable in education principles and supporting SEMH & ADHD needs
  • Have English and maths at GCSE or L2 as standard
  • Experience in behaviour management techniques for children with SEMH needs
  • Strong mentoring skills to guide and inspire children
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and caregivers
  • Experience working with children in an educational or mentoring capacity
  • Ability to educate and engage children in various subjects, including cooking,  PSHE, Maths, English, and Creative Technology. 
  • Willing to work off-site on occasion or when referral requires in a school or home setting

Schedule:

  • Rowde Site – Part time days – Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays 8:30-3:30pm
  • Calne Site   – Full Time Monday- Friday 8:30-3:30pm
