This close to the half term our students are still nowhere near running out of steam!
It wouldn’t be a week at SB without some sort of noise coming from the DT area.
This term’s pinball machine project is really starting to take shape. This week the students started working on the back box that is going to be holding the top screen!
This week our students worked hard on their core subject skills, each at their own level. This week’s topics included inequalities, probability and perimeters! Great work everyone!
One student created an amazing piece of work in his PHSE lesson.
He researched and summarised in great detail what kinds of communication difficulties someone could have, and how they can use alternative methods to communicate.
Students continued with their cooking skills and Foodwise ASDAN courses this week.
DS made some delicious Rocky Road, and AF finished his nutrient chart that tells us we probably shouldn’t be eating too much Rocky Road!
Our students have also started trying out website design, playing around with different layouts and learning in-depth about how websites work.

This week there was plenty of reason to celebrate!
We celebrated a few birthdays and one of our outreach students scored himself a job interview!
