Another great week at SB. Have a look at some of the things the students achieved this week:
Down in the IT room things got super creative this week.
RMB worked on her digital drawing skills with a drawing pad, cleverly using different layers and slowly building up the colours and shadows. DS practised using Blender and worked hard on a 3D model of a car that turned out absolutely incredible!
Of course safety is very important to us here, so when spray painting parts of the arcade cabinet AC made sure to wear appropriate safety equipment, including gloves, a mask and something to protect his clothes.
The Life Skills lessons continued with more work on communication and active listening with a tricky activity that required the students’ full focus.
We finished the week with a Fajita Friday.
At lunchtime the students and staff shared some delicious fajitas prepared by DL. Thank you, they were great!
This week we’ve had to say goodbye to DL.
We’re sad to watch him leave and we’ll miss him but we’re excited for him to move on to new adventures!
