It’s the first week back and I could tell you that our students surprised us with their motivation and hard work, but if you’ve been reading any of these highlights, that should not be a surprise at all!
It’s only the first week of term and our students came in with so much motivation it absolutely blew us away.
They engaged incredibly well with our new PHSE topic, picked up where they left off on their Maths and English, continued ICT and DT projects and got straight back into their ASDAN courses, whether it’s FoodWise, Beauty or whichever other one they have chosen to take on!
This week we finally got some sunshine! We couldn’t let that go to waste and just like that the entire building was empty Friday afternoon!
Some staff and students enjoyed the nature in the area, photographed the first flowers and took a second to appreciate the scenery.
The others put on their football boots and went to Beversbrook!
There are no two weeks that are alike here at SB. Each week our students try something new, surprise us with great discussions and so much more!
Earlier this week two students set out to create a survey that will once and for all answer the question…What UNO rules should we play by at SB?
Another student finished building a small model shop between lessons, that took patience and some real attention to detail!
