Weekly Highlights

It feels like the year just started but the term is actually already over! It’s been wonderful to see all our new and returning students kick off the new year with lots of energy and motivation!
Even during the last week of term our students didn’t slow down.

As part of their FoodWise course some of our students had a go at fruit art this week.
The task was to find a way to make eating fruit more appealing to children and they absolutely smashed it!

Can you believe the progress our climbers have made over the course of this term? They’ve not just developed their climbing skills, they have improved personal best after personal best, braved the bouldering wall and learned to trust their own ability.

Having a look around the ICT and DT areas, you get a real sense of the amazing skill, perseverance and patience our students have. Whether it’s game development, GCSE Computer Science, making a sensory wall for our friends at Positive Pathways or creating decorations for an -also student-made- digital pinball machine, you won’t find a project down there that isn’t getting bigger and better every week!

And with that the term is already over again! They do say time flies when you’re having fun.

We hope everyone has a relaxing (and not totally rainy!) half-term and we’re excited to see everyone back on Monday the 24th!
