What a lovely afternoon we’ve had on Wednesday!
After watching our students work hard all term and creating absolutely beautiful Christmas decorations it was wonderful to see people appreciate their work and share the joy!
We would like to say a big thank you for the parents and schools that came to our open day and helped us raise over £400!
All the money we raised is going to be put to very good use… for what is not entirely up to us staff! In the new year we are putting it to the students to decide what equipment or trips they could benefit from, so watch this space for an update on what they decide!
A very very special thank you goes to Downland School as well, who attend with a group of students on Tuesdays. Not only did they help create some of the items sold, they also independently sold some items and raised another £111!
Seeing students and staff stay late to help, parents and school staff show up to support our work and the lovely decorations find new homes has been absolutely wonderful!
Some of the items that were not sold are very much still available, so if you missed out or if your wooden reindeer needs a friend, get in touch!
