As part of our careers week, today we welcomed Jasmine Williamson, Owner of The Treatment Room Blacklands to our provision. Jas gave up her valuable time to chat with some of our students that are interested in beauty and are completing the ASDAN introduction into Hair & Beauty. As part of their course they were able to ask questions and show some of their own skills learnt so far as well as having some tips offered including eyebrow pencil application, nail art and makeup application.
One of our students was even able to show Jas how to braid. It was lovely to see the interaction between students and Jas and to get some great tips not just around beauty but running your own business. We have kindly been invited to the salon in a few weeks where the students can see the premises and have a treatment.
