It’s been a brilliant week of creativity, problem-solving, and genuine skill-building across all of our sessions. Here’s a look at what our students have been getting stuck into.
One student built a “Cookie Clicker” style game in Roblox Studio, diving into Lua scripting to debug and refine their auto-clicker shop system. They even brought in an AI assistant to help troubleshoot and generate new features, which showed a really mature approach to problem-solving.

Another student got hands-on with RPG Maker MZ, configuring weapons, characters, tilesets, and sprite assets through the software’s database system. They showed brilliant organisational skills as they explored file structures and started building out their own game world from scratch.

Over two sessions, one student developed their photo editing skills in Photopea, using tools like the Magic Eraser to remove backgrounds from product images and create clean, professional-looking results. The attention to detail and precision in their edge work was seriously impressive.
