Another awesome week at SB. Alongside their Maths and English our students got up to a lot of great and creative things.

While most of us think of LEGO as a fun toy it can be an incredible tool, also! Practising team-work, creativity, physics, patience, focus and attention, and even programming can all be done using the colourful little bricks!
As part of her Creative Arts ASDAN course, PNO has challenged herself to learn a new skill: Knitting! It looks like she’s getting the hang of it really quickly and we can’t wait to see what she’ll use her new skill for!
What could be more delicious than freshly baked scones? Of course cheese scones! Our students used a variety of techniques to create delicious golden cheesy scones that smelled and looked absolutely incredible!

Huge congratulations to PH who completed his Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
This is the qualification needed for anyone in the UK who stores, prepares or serves food to people! It covers appropriate storage and hygiene as well as key legislation around food safety.
It does not expire either, so this is an amazing and useful certificate to have 👍
