At SB we aim to support our students to be resilient learners, inside and outside of provision.
But our staff are not just committed to talking the talk, but also walking the walk…or in this case running!
Over the past months Marion has challenged herself to improve her health and fitness by picking up running again. Sometimes early in the morning, sometimes tired and cold but always determined she built up her stamina and proved to everyone, but mostly herself, that a little resilience can go run a long way.
Last weekend Marion decided to take on the biggest challenge, yet:
The Swindon Half-Marathon.
Cheered on by family and friends she powered through all 13.1 miles and crossed the finish line after an incredible 2 hours, 6 minutes and 56 seconds!
We’re so proud of you and your achievement is absolutely inspiring!
