Explaining, Improving, and Polishing: MM Reflects on His Game Design
We began today’s session by looking back at last week’s work and using the green screen to capture MM explaining what he had already achieved in his game. Refining the Experience: ES Develops His Arcade Game
Improving Gameplay Mechanics
During the game development session, ES refined the gravity controls, improving how the character moves and responds on screen. This adjustment made the gameplay feel smoother and more intuitive. He also introduced a “kill” mechanic and an endgame sequence, adding structure, challenge, and a clear sense of progression to the game.

Drone Design: Adding Detail and Functionality
A key focus of the session was adding a fan guard to the drone. To achieve this, TE used a range of different modelling techniques, carefully considering both form and function. This addition not only improves the design visually but also shows his understanding of how components need to work together.
