A Magical Sea Scene Begins: PNO’s Creative Knitting Project

Inspired by our recent trip to Wake The Tiger, we decided to recreate a sea-life–inspired scene filled with texture, colour, and imagination. The vision includes a rustic tree, flowers, and a variety of sea creatures — all coming together to form a vibrant, magical underwater world.

Knitting a Jellyfish

PNO chose to create a pink jellyfish, complete with shiny tentacles, as part of the scene. After exploring our scrap store, she selected from a wonderful mix of materials perfectly suited to bringing a sea creature to life. Her choices showed creativity and a great eye for texture and detail.

A Fantastic First Step

What made today especially impressive was how quickly PNO picked up knitting. With confidence and enthusiasm, she got straight to work, laying strong foundations for her jellyfish project. For a first go, her progress was fantastic and full of promise.

Reflection on Progress

This was a great start for Pixie. Her creativity, willingness to try something new, and fast-growing knitting skills really stood out. The pink jellyfish is already shaping up beautifully, and it’s exciting to imagine how it will look as part of the finished sea-life scene. Well done, Pixie! 🧶🌸
