After building and completing his loom last week, LG was eager to move on to a full rug project — and today marked that exciting next step. LG rose to the challenge with his usual confidence and focus.
Preparing the Design
LG began by helping to set up the projector, displaying a reference image, and carefully drawing the outline for the rug. This stage required patience and accuracy, and he approached it thoughtfully, ensuring the design was clearly mapped out before moving on.
Tufting with Confidence
With the design in place, LG used the tufting gun to begin filling in the relevant sections of the rug. He worked steadily and confidently, showing growing control and understanding of the tufting process. For a first proper tufted piece, the results were really pleasing and demonstrated strong early skill development.
