The first week back was full of new skills, new people and new beginnings! We’re really looking forward to seeing all the awesome work our students are going to be doing this term 👍
Our students really wowed us with their motivation to get started on their Maths and English! Many of our students are working on their Functional Skills at their respective levels and did some really awesome work this week!
After a summer of silence this week all the machines in the DT area roared back to life and our students got straight back to work! From stickers to interactive screen creativity was already overflowing!
Some students are picking up science this term. Two of them will be learning about evolution and inheritance and started this week by discussing what traits we can (to an extent) inherit and then had a look at dominant and recessive genes!
PSHE this term will focus on safely using social media, how it can impact us and how we can assess and cope with risks.
We’re really looking forward to what this term will bring!
