Weekly Highlights

Only one week left to the Christmas break and our students are showing no signs of slowing down.
Have a look at what they were up to here:

In the age of smart phones and digital cameras it has become easy to just take dozens of pictures of anything and everything, rather than finding things truly worth taking a picture off. To return to the grass roots of photography today EH was presented with a challenge: A Polaroid camera with a single picture left. One shot. One chance. One picture to capture something he feels is worth photographing.
And it turned out just perfect!

To prepare for our Christmas Open Day on Thursday our students prepared all sorts of delicious treats! Sweet or savoury, they all turned out absolutely delicious! It was very difficult for everyone to actually save it all for Thursday!

After weeks and weeks of working on building her research skills, practising using Google Slides and summarising 100(!) years of women’s fashion RMB finally completed her independent research project.
Over the course of researching and compiling 100 years of fashion history she improved her research and summary skills so much and became more and more independent with it!

Even though we’re getting to the end of term our students are not slowing down. Over the course of this term many students have made some considerable progress towards their Functional Skills Maths and English Level 1 and 2. Well done!

If it’s rainy outside, we’ll just have to bring the winter wonderland inside! Last week many students spent their art sessions creating beautiful snow globes.

We hope you had a good weekend and are ready for the last week of term!
