Another week of great work! Last week our students continued their work and got really stuck into this term’s topics and projects!
Down in the workshop last week our students continued their wide variety of projects and already made amazing progress! Painting, laser cutting, designing, vinyl cutting and setting up interactive displays were only some of the things our students got stuck into!
AF and DS got their lab coats out and extracted the DNA from strawberries. Making sure the appropriate safety measures were taken they carefully mixed, added, purified and observed while closely following the instructions.
OS already spent a lot of time last time working on clothing design and is aiming to continue that this term! He absolutely wowed us with an incredible dragon design he did in his own time. At SB he can now refine his design and print it on clothes!
For their art sessions this term our super creative students are working on their shading and line drawing skills. A good place to start for that are different shading techniques that they got to practice last week!
On Friday we had a little furry guest that was very well behaved…and incredibly photogenic! EH got the camera out and we took little 11-year-old cockapoo Herbie for a walk and photoshoot. The pictures are just amazing!
So much awesome hard work, many new projects and fresh ideas! Our students continue to impress us with their perseverance and creativity!
